For decades, NGK application engineers in Wixom, Michigan have collaborated with auto manufacturers to provide technologies fit for the vehicles of the future.

Ignition Components

The Ignition Specialist™ full-line product offering includes: spark plugs, glow plugs, ignition coils, coil-on-plug boots and wire sets, with each individual product line covering over 95% of domestic and import vehicles in operation.

Spark Plugs & Glow Plugs

As the largest original equipment supplier, NGK Spark Plugs is the best choice for both domestic and import vehicles. With over 1,150 part numbers, offering over 99% coverage by rate of repair for vehicles in operation in the USA, NGK leads the category.

Ignition Coils

NGK’s ignition coils are manufactured with custom a NGK ASIC chipset, dielectric grease and high quality epoxy for optimal performance and easy installation. With over 450 part numbers, NGK ignition coils provide over 95% vehicles in operation coverage in the USA. These coils also undergo extreme testing conditions in an ISO 17025 certified test lab to ensure they meet the highest performance and durability.

Wire Sets & Coil-on-plug boots

NGK wire sets and coil-on-plug boots provide superior quality over original equipment standard with unequaled noise suppression, outstanding durability and superior conductivity. NGK offers parts for over 98% of vehicles in operation.

Sensor Components

Our OE heritage in oxygen sensors allows us to deliver aftermarket oxygen sensors from the same assembly lines as our OE products. Our expertise in sensor technology is applied to the NTK Premium Technical Sensor program, featuring over 6,500 part numbers and including 90 different part types for both import and domestic vehicles. NTK technical sensor products are 100% tested to meet and or exceed OE specifications.

NTK Oxygen Sensors are manufactured with a sensing element that incorporates NGK’s premier technical ceramics, as well as waterproof connectors.

Speed sensors

Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications, NTK applied several upgrades to its MAF sensors.

Variable Valve Timing SOlenoids

NTK’s VVT solenoids meet the demands of today’s VVT engines at both low and high RPMs and are manufactured for perfected fit, form, and function.
